Birthday bash to nayanthara - Lady Super Star

        Without doubt one of kollywood's most beautiful leading ladies, Nayanthara, who celebrates her birthday on Wednesday, is also credited with giving heroines in K'town a personality they seldom had in the past. Such was the power of her presence that she could compete with the heroes of the time for screen real estate, and get it. Little wonder then that she was called the first female superstar of the industry. A veteran in her own right, Nayanthara proved her mettle across languages, from Tamil and Telugu films and gave hit after hit in a career spanning decades. 
       At first, when she debuted ( Tamil ) in Ayya, a superhit rural movie. Even Behindwoods.com, said it was a sensational debut for her. Right next to ayya, she acted in Chandramukhi with Thalaivar Rajinikanth. This movie ran for 800 days in theaters. I think that no one will ever get these head start in tamil cinema, May be rarely. Followed by Ghajini, the movie inspired from momento by A.R.Murugadoss became a huge hit. Following every movie, She was steadily reaching to the new heights. Even though Ghajini was a hit, Nayanthara later revealed that it was her greatest and worst mistake ever. And then the kalvanin kadhali which was not so good but her performance in that movie is very adorable. Actually, that is the movie which everyone came to know about the artist Nayanthara. Followed by Thalaimagan , again with Sarathkumar and E with Jeeva. The magic happened in this episode of her life, Vallavan. Vallavan, a pure rom-com hit. She fell in love with he co-star and director of the movie Silambarasan (STR). That doesn't end quite well, as like most of the couples.
Every time we see nayanthara's career graph we could split her career in to two halves.

That is Before billa, and after billa. Billa, a remake of a rajini movie which was remade from Bachchan's DON. This is the first time she holds the hand with Ajith Kumar. Actually, this is not the type of movie which uses heroine as a glam doll, or a item girl. It is real hard, she actually had a greatest screen presence ever. Then in the year of 2008, she had 4 releases, such as yaaradi nee mohini, Kuselan, Villu and Aegan. Actually except Yaaradi Nee Mohini which was the highest grosser of the year none other movies of her movies goes well. Still, Her performance is praise by critics in all 4 movies. The year 2009 started with Aadhavan, again a disaster.In 2010, all her releases, which featured her as the female lead, turned out to be commercial successes. Out of that one was Tamil movie Boss Engira Baskaran. That might be the dark side of her career. And she was reported to marry Director Prabhudeva, so she decided to retire. She finished all the project and married to Prabhu Deva. By the mean time, Both got divorced due to misunderstanding. While she retired, most of the people thought She is also one of the passing clouds of K'Town. But She was not. She came back like never before. She came back with full force. She came back with the extra charisma, than she already had. She came back with a unique style. She came back with the two Blockbuster movies : Arrambam and Raja Rani. That's It, Everyone came to know that she isn't just a passing cloud, She is more than that.  Arrambam, just like billa it isn't just a love interest type of character. She evolves around and turns to the twist turner of the story, she was given the same preferences that was given to Ajith. So the movie came out so well. And Raja Rani, an inspiration from Mani Ratnam's Mouna Ragam and Rhythm (arjun's movie). Nayanthara gave enormous amount of performances for these two movies.   Both films became very successful at the box office making it as a dream comeback for Nayanthara. In 2014, she appeared in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal which was directed by S R Prabhakaran. Her next release was the bilingual thriller Nee Enge En Anbe (Tamil) / Anamika (Telugu)directed by Shekhar Kammula for which her work was mostly praised by critics. In 2015, she starred in the Tamil romantic comedy Nannbenda starring Udhayanidhi Stalin.  Her next release was the horror comedy Masss co-starring Suriya which didn't gone well. 

Then was the Blockbuster action flick Thani Oruvan starring Jayam Ravi. She followed it with the horror film Maya which also eventually became a Super Hit and her work was mainly praised for the success of the story. Then Vignesh Shivan's Naanum Rowdydhaan starring Vijay Sethupathi also became a Huge Critical & Commercial Success. Her acting in this movie as a deaf got lot's of audience appeal into her. Thani oruvan, Maya, and Naanum Rowdy than still running in cinemas, Even though they released on different dates. Her Career graph and Her dedication towards cinema is what her a SuperStar. Film's in Nayanthara's bags yet to release : The romance film Idhu Namma Aalu starring Silambarasan. She also has Thirunaal co starring Jiiva.
